Activate and Manage Unified Messaging (new ETH Voicemail)
ETH provides a new voicemail system which can be activated for ETH phone numbers and acts like a telephone answering machine.

Please note that Unified Messaging is going to replace the old Xpressions voicebox system on 28.2.2015. Currently the two voicemail system are working parallel and one can switch from Xpressions to the new UM back and for.

Steps to activate your new Unifed Messaging Voicemail

Go to Meine Services
Click on Phone
Activate Service by clicking on Dienst aktivieren

Click Options in the top-right corner
In the expanded menu click See All Options…
In the left menu pane click Phone
Here you find any options needed to configure your voicemail box
To enable your voicemail box you need to forward all calls to 39990 (not 29990 as used to with Xpressions)

Limitations and Avantages
You can enable to receive an email notification even if the caller did not record a message but just hung up before the recorder can start. This can help to better track you tried to call you during your absence. This behavior can be controlled in the
